“Tri Petch Group” organized CSR activities aiming for carbon neutrality “Tri Petch Group Seaside Sustainability”

Tri Petch Group, by Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd., continues to organize activities to promote energy and environmental conservation with communities and society in line with the sustainable development policy to achieve carbon neutrality, reaffirming its status as a good corporate citizen in the society with the activity “Tri Petch Group Seaside Sustainability” under the project “Tri Petch Group Saves the Earth” for the 8th consecutive year. This year, more than 80 Tri Petch Group executives and employees donated 60 used tires for the community utilization, as well as 72 kilograms of bottle caps collected by employees for the community to produce 1,500 coasters, collected and separated 32 kilograms of beach litter to be processed into new products and proper disposal, as well as released berried crabs and crab eggs, which helped increase the crab population by more than 90,000 in Ban Amphoe and Bang Saray communities, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province.

The Tri Petch Group is aware of the impact of greenhouse gas emissions that may occur from various activities organized by people in society. Therefore, it is committed to developing activities in the form of "Carbon Neutrality CSR" by considering the reduction of environmental impacts at every step, emphasizing the use of materials that have less impact on the environment, reducing the use of unnecessary resources to reduce waste, and managing waste appropriately by recycling. Including calculating the amount of greenhouse gas emissions from all activities to adjust, reduce, and compensate to create balance or carbon neutrality.

Mr. Takashi Hata, Chief Executive Officer of Tri Petch Group and President of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd., said, ““Tri Petch Group Saves the Earth” project is an environmental project that Tri Petch Group aims to create a culture of sustainability and create awareness among employees. This year, we organized energy and environmental conservation activities with communities and society on-site for the second consecutive year. Tri Petch Group donated used tires to the community to be used as plant pots and bumpers for fishing boats. We have collected and sorted trash on the beach to reduce pollution and protect the marine ecosystem and also processed trash from donated bottle caps by our employees to the community. In addition, we have released berried crabs and crab eggs back into nature to preserve biodiversity and promote environmental balance. We believe that Tri Petch Group, which has been operating under social responsibility in Thailand for over 67 years, has organized various environmental activities and created awareness among employees to participate in energy conservation. This will help create and develop a sustainable society, pushing Thailand towards its goal of carbon neutrality as set.”
