“Tri Petch Group” moves forward with organizing activities for the environment with the project “Tri Petch Group Saves the Earth”

Tri Petch Group led by Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Company Limited, continues to organize activities to promote energy and environmental conservation, reinforcing its commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen and creating a sustainable society under the "Tri Petch Group Saves the Earth" project for the seventh year in a row. The activity was organized this year with more than 120 Tri Petch Group executives and employees to participate in tree planting, seed shooting to reforest areas, and the construction of a weir in Muak Lek District, Saraburi Province.

Mr. Takashi Hata, Chief Executive Officer of Tri Petch Group and of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Company Limited said, “ "Tri Petch Group Saves the Earth" project was initiated in 2016 as an environmental project that took into account both hardware and software through improving the energy system and various resources to be environmentally friendly. It also enhanced employee awareness and promoted a culture of sustainability, such as improving and upgrading the main office building of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd. by installing solar panels, using LED lights, using an automatic building management and control system, using a high-efficiency air filter, and installing UV-C bulbs in the air conditioning system. These actions resulted in the company passing standard criteria for energy use and indoor air quality and receiving many valuable awards both at the national level and in the ASEAN region. Involving all employees in continuously improving work processes is in line with digital transformation and operational transformation in order to lead to sustainable management, including expanding projects to society and community through inviting employees to donate items to foundations or organizations. This year, we organized environmental activities at Chet Sao Noi Waterfall National Park, Muak Lek District, Saraburi Province, with more than 120 executives and employees of the Tri Petch Group joining together to plant trees and shoot seeds for reforestation. The number of trees planted was the same as the number of employees of the Tri Petch Group, which is 3,311 trees, reducing carbon dioxide gas by 39,732 kilograms of CO2 per year. We also built water slow-down dams to store water in the dry season and reduce soil erosion. We believe that various activities, including a campaign to raise awareness among employees about energy and environmental conservation, have reflected a strong determination. We will continue and strengthen these activities to create a sustainable society for the next generation.”
