Initial Impressions at TPIT

Let's introduce ourselves

Sprite : Hello, my name is Sprite, Sinut Wattanarporn. I work as a Software Engineer in a Mobile field. My main job is to develop various features for mobile applications according to the requirements received from the Product Owner.

Great : Hello, Raweebhas Paiboonwong or Great. I am a First Jobber who just graduated from ICT Mahidol University. I am currently working in SAP Functional position in Financial Accounting (FI).

Why did you choose to work here?

Sprite : Personally, I was an intern here, which allowed me to get to know the working atmosphere and the seniors in the team. I was impressed with how they take care and pay attention to their employees, including their good welfare. In addition, I was familiar with and liked their coding style, which had a clear format, resulting in high-quality and efficient code. Another thing was that this place placed a lot of importance on the users of the application. In every design and feature, we always thought about how the users would use it, whether this feature really met the needs of the users, and how it would benefit the company. When the business side thinks about these things, it makes us developers confident that we are developing something that is truly useful.

Great : I just graduated with an IT degree in Software Engineering and was interested in working in SAP, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) like my father. When I first looked for a job, I recognised that this place is a large in-house company. If I could work there, it would be a good opportunity to learn and get started with SAP since most of the jobs in this field require prior experience. However, this place gave me the opportunity to learn and work with mentors to give me advice. As for commuting to work, it was very convenient. You could take the BTS or drive. There was 100% parking (you can park indoors too). What made me decide to work here is that during the interview, the supervisors were very friendly, kind, and not tense. After the interview, I asked my friend (Sprite) who had interned here if his intern was good. I was immediately convinced that this place takes good care of its employees, so I decided to choose here.

Tell us about the working atmosphere. How are your team members?

Sprite : The team members are very friendly. We talk and joke around together, but we are serious during work.

Great : The working atmosphere here is agile. We have a daily scrum meeting every morning to discuss what we have done, what we are stuck on, and what we will do next. My teammates are friendly and very cheerful. Especially when it comes to food, there is always food available at a small snack bar in our department. You could say that we are overflowing with sodium, hahaha. Most importantly, the support in our team is +100%. I am very happy.

Impressions of Working at TPIT

Sprite : I am impressed with the application that used to ask us about our feelings, such as “How is your day?” or “How often do you feel stressed?” It allows us to review ourselves each day. If we answer that we are not feeling well or starting to feel stressed often, the application would notify the manager, so he could call me in to talk right away. I am impressed that they take action with the employees quickly (even though the application misunderstands that I am stressed often). Moreover, we are able to receive and give feedback about work and colleagues during the work summary meeting, which helps improve understanding and allow the team to improve their work efficiency.

Great : I was very impressed since the first day I came to the orientation. We were welcomed by the executives and staff in a warm and friendly atmosphere. There was an office tour to get to know different places in the building. When I started working, even though I was a new graduate, Tri Petch IT had mentors to teach me. They set milestones for what to study this week and what to study next week. The other team members also gave me advice. No matter what I was stuck on or unsure about, they helped me with everything and this made my work successful and complete (The team members were very kind.). Another thing that I felt the company really cared about their employee was that after the probation period, the team members gave me feedback on how my work was going. HR also asked about my well-being, whether I was well-cared for by the team, whether the work matched my expectations or was too hard. As for the benefits, I can’t help but mention them. They are very good, such as health insurance, Provident Fund, discounts on ISUZU vehicles. What I liked the most was that there is a gym in the company. Plus, there are trainers to teach you how to workout. Finally, the company has many activities, including Team Building, Company Trip, Tech Event, Workshop and External Training, which are fun and give you the opportunity to develop yourself all the time, hahahaha. In conclusion, I am very impressed with everything this company has to offer.

It is a big home that is warm, fun, stable, and with many benefits. You can also learn new techniques all the time. Moreover, the seniors in the team take good care of you.
