From an Intern to a Tri Petch Isuzu Service Employee

From the First Day at the Company until Today

My beginning with Tri Petch Isuzu Service Company (TISCO) came from the opportunity to intern in the service consultant department. At that time, I was still a new kid who didn't know anything. Luckily, I had seniors who gave me advice and taught me closely. All of them were very kind and always willing to give me advice and knowledge. It made me feel like I was part of the team from the first day I started working until today, which has been more than 14 years.

First Memory of Service Work

One of the first memories that I still remember well is talking to customers for the first time. I felt excited and worried whether I would be able to answer the customers’ questions well or not. At that time, there was a mentor who taught me about the job and was always there for me. With the guidance of my seniors, I was able to get through it and also received compliments from customers, which motivated me to further improve myself.

Reasons to Stay with the Company

There are many factors that made me decide to accept the offer to continue working here. One of them is excellent welfare because the company values every employee and there are discussions about growth plans. The working atmosphere is another thing that impressed me. All of my co-workers are friendly and always help each other. In addition, the technicians here are very skilled and can address all customer concerns. Moreover, the work system here is good and has high standards. Also, it is a model for service centers nationwide. This makes me confident and proud to work here.

Opportunities to Learn and Develop

I would like to tell my friends that the company places great importance on developing the potential of its employees. There are various training and seminars for employees to learn new skills, both at Tri Petch's training institute or with external speakers. The training that impressed me the most was the training course for Isuzu's basic body and paint service consultants. At that time, I gained more knowledge and skills necessary for my work. Apart from the knowledge, I also met new friends who were in the same profession and got to exchange opinions, perspectives, and different ways of working, which was very beneficial to me. I also had the opportunity to learn about another line of work within the company, such as customer relations, cashier, and spare parts storeroom. These gave me an overview of the work in each department and a better understanding of the company's working  processes.

Impressive Experience

One of the most memorable experiences for me was being part of the lecturers in the company's internal training. I had the opportunity to share the knowledge and experiences I had learned with my colleagues, which made me feel very proud of myself. Furthermore, being a lecturer also helped me improve my communication and presentation skills. Working at Tri Petch Isuzu Service Company was a great experience because I learned, grew, and met many people who were always ready to support and encourage me.
